Arrows

The equation editor supports several arrows, none of which can be typed from the braille terminal at this time due to their complexity. However, you can still enter them from the “Arrows” palette, then type its argument after the equation editor supplies the full cell.

Exercises

Type the following arrows into the equation editor below. Since most of these symbols cannot be entered manually, simply verify that you can properly navigate to the appropriate parts of the equation and whether the equation editor produces the proper Nemeth braille output in each case. Also verify that a sighted friend can read each equation you have typed as it is displayed on the screen, and feel free to try your own examples.
