Lines

There are several common lines that are supported by the equation editor. Though you cannot enter them from the braille terminal at this time, you can still enter the symbols from the “Lines” palette, then enter the arguments in the full cell which the equation editor provides.

Exercises

Using the “Lines” palette, enter the following lines into the equation editor below and verify that the equation editor produces the proper Nemeth braille output in each case. Since you will not be able to type these exercises manually, be sure you can navigate to all parts of the expression properly. Also verify that a sighted friend can read each expression you have typed as it is displayed on the screen. Feel free to try your own examples.
